Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using the Redactify mobile application (the "Service") operated by Neon Grain ("us", "we", or "our").
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access or use the Service.
1. Scope of Service & Permitted Use
Redactify provides on-device image and document redaction tools, including automated text recognition (OCR), face detection, search-based matching, multi-layer redactions, and export functionality.
- You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Redactify for personal or internal professional privacy purposes.
- You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international laws.
- You are solely responsible for all images, files, document scans, and content processed or exported through the Service.
2. Subscriptions, Free-Tier Quotas, and Purchases
Redactify offers both free usage tiers (which may limit active draft histories or export options) and premium subscription or one-time upgrade options ("Pro Access").
- Billing Cycles: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring periodic basis (monthly or annually) according to the pricing selected at checkout.
- Platform Billing: All payments, billing details, and subscription management are processed directly by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store via RevenueCat integration. Neon Grain does not hold or store your billing credentials.
- Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
3. Refund Policy
All financial transactions are conducted directly through Apple or Google platform storefronts. Consequently, Neon Grain cannot issue direct monetary refunds.
- Apple App Store: Request a refund via Apple's official portal at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Google Play Store: Request a refund via Google Play support at Google Play Help.
4. User Responsibility & Redaction Disclaimer
Redactify provides automated tools (such as machine-learning based OCR and face detection algorithms) designed to assist users in discovering sensitive text or visual elements.
- Manual Review Obligation: Automated detection features may not identify 100% of sensitive names, numbers, or visual features due to varying document resolution, handwriting, contrast, or lighting.
- Final Verification: You bear sole responsibility for verifying and confirming that all confidential, personal, or proprietary information is thoroughly and accurately redacted prior to exporting or publicly sharing any document or photo.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
The Service, including software code, UI design, vector graphics, icons, branding, and proprietary algorithms, remains the exclusive intellectual property of Neon Grain and its licensors. You acquire no ownership rights in the underlying software.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties ("AS IS")
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. NEON GRAIN DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, BUG-FREE, OR COMPLETELY ERROR-FREE.
7. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL NEON GRAIN, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, OR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR PRIVACY BREACHES RESULTING FROM USER EXPORT CHOICES) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after effective revisions constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
