Privacy First: Redactify is designed to be a completely private, on-device utility. We do not collect, store, or transmit your images to any servers. All image processing and text recognition happen locally on your device.

Neon Grain ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Redactify mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service.

1. Information Collection and Use

We value your privacy above all else. Redactify is built with a "Privacy by Design" approach. We do not collect, store, or transmit any user-generated content (images, documents, or redacted text) from our users.

2. Device Permissions

To provide its core redaction features, Redactify requires access to certain device features:

Photos / Media Gallery: Used to select images you wish to redact and to save the final redacted images back to your device.
Camera: Used if you choose to take a photo directly within the app for redaction.

3. On-Device Processing

Redactify uses Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to detect text within your images for easier redaction.

Local Analysis: All text recognition and image processing are performed locally on your device.
No Cloud Processing: Your images are NEVER uploaded to the cloud for analysis. The visual data stays on your device at all times.

4. Third-Party Services

To improve the app's performance and provide certain features, we use the following third-party services:

Firebase (Crashlytics & Analytics): We use Firebase to collect anonymized crash reports and basic usage statistics to help us improve the app. This data does not include any of your personal images or redacted content.
Google AdMob: We may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may use device identifiers (like IDFA on iOS or AAID on Android) to serve personalized or non-personalized ads.
RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions and purchases. RevenueCat helps us process your subscription status but does not receive your sensitive payment information.

5. Data Security

Because Redactify does not collect or transmit your personal images or sensitive documents, your core data is as secure as your own device. We implement industry-standard security measures for the limited anonymized data collected by our third-party partners.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
